Dr. James David Roblee — known as “Dr. James” in the office — is a born and raised Northwest Arkansas native and proud University of Arkansas graduate. He earned his DDS from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor College of Dentistry) in 2015, and from there ventured further west to UCLA, where he completed a two-year residency in Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. He became a Diplomate of the Board of Orofacial Pain in 2017.
Dr. James completed his orthodontics residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco earning his MSD in 2019. He is one of few dual specialists in the country trained in both orthodontics and orofacial pain, making him an expert in dentofacial orthopedics, proper airway function, and chronic pain management, including TMJ pain, as well as dental aesthetics.
Passionate about continued education, Dr. James is an active member in several prestigious dental organizations, including the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the World Dentofacial Sleep Society, and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He has been invited to share his expertise from California to Florida, and enjoys hosting courses right here in Northwest Arkansas alongside his father and brother, also practicing orthodontists.
During his time in California, Dr. James learned to drone and became a skilled photographer. At one time his Instagram account had over 50,000 followers (check it out @jamesdroblee) and his work was even picked up for a coffee table book!
Dr. James is married to his college sweetheart, Holly, and together they have three sons: Teddy, Chase, and Connor. When he’s not working, you can usually find Dr. James in the backyard with his boys creating a makeshift waterpark, working on his plants, or taking a dip in his ice bath.
